
Delicate aromatic casserole. Perfect for breakfast.
You can use pears instead of apples. Instead of raisins – dried apricots.
You can serve the casserole with sour cream, yogurt, jam.
From the specified amount of ingredients, 6-8 servings are obtained.
Ingredients
- 500 ml milk
- 200 g rice (round or long grain)
- 100 g butter
- 3 eggs
- 100 g sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 200 g carrots
- 300 g apples
- 100 g raisins
Preparation
Bring the milk to a boil.
Pour rice into boiling milk.
Cook (over medium heat) with stirring, until tender (about 20-25 minutes).
Remove rice from heat.
Add oil to hot rice.
Mix.
Grate the carrots on a medium grater.
Peel the apples.
Remove core.
Cut into cubes.
You can add cinnamon to taste.
Separate the whites from the yolks.
Grind the yolks with sugar and vanilla sugar.
Add yolks to rice.
Mix.
Add apples.
Add carrots.
Add raisins (pre-wash the raisins, you can soak them for 20 minutes in warm water).
Mix.
Whisk the whites into a foam.
Add protein to rice mixture.
Stir gently.
Put the mass in a greased (or lined with baking paper) mold (I used a 23×23 cm mold).
Flatten.
Put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
Bake for 30-35 minutes.
Cool the finished casserole, cut into portions.
