The meat is very tender and aromatic.
Rice is ideal for garnish.
When serving, you can pour the rice with the sauce in which the meat was stewed.
From the specified amount of ingredients, 3-4 servings are obtained.
- 500 g pork (fillet or boneless)
- 150 ml soy sauce
- 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp tomato paste or ketchup
- 1 tsp ground dried ginger (or 1 teaspoon grated fresh)
- vegetable oil
Remove the zest from the lemon (with a special knife, or grate).
Squeeze juice from the lemon (you should get about 50 ml).
Mix soy sauce, lemon juice, zest, ketchup, ginger.
Pepper (no need to salt, soy sauce is quite salty).
Place the meat in the sauce, cut into 1-1.5 cm thick pieces
Cover with cling film.
Refrigerate for 3-4 hours.
Fry the meat on both sides (fry for 5-7 minutes on each side).
Add some sauce in which the meat was marinated.
Simmer, covered, until tender (about 10-15 minutes).
To check whether the meat is ready or not, pierce it with a knife, if a light liquid is released, the meat is ready.
